| Experience/Qualifications: |
We are looking for a STC with enthusiasm for continuous improvement, solid analytical and problem solving skills and leadership who can plan and prioritize and follow through on their work and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Excellent verbal and written communication in addition to building and maintaining strong relationships, reconciling competing ideas on problems to a mutually beneficial conclusion are critical in this role.
• 5+ years experience in a Technical Analyst role or the equivalent required
• BA/BS in Computer Science or Engineering (or comparable technical
discipline and business knowledge experience)
• Understanding of the Financial Services Industry is desired, especially within the credit lifecycle (acquisition, origination, account management, portfolio management, collections and/or recovery)
• Experience with the following tools and technologies:
o Windows 2003
o Unix
o Java
o XML
o HTML
o JSP
o JavaScript
o SQL
• Experience supporting web applications using Apache, Tomcat, and MySQL
• Familiarity with data sources from multiple database platforms such as Oracle, DB2, MS SQL
• Knowledge of open source software development, integration and release methodologies
• Ability to contribute and adhere to process and work with all levels of employees and consultants

| Job Description: |
The Senior Technical Consultant (STC) works with colleagues and clients to design, configure, implement and deploy solutions based on the Provenir software platform. The STC will identify specific business requirements, configure software to meet those requirements, and work with the client to ensure a successful product implementation. The STC may be a single engineering consultant or a lead developer on a project team implementing entire sub-systems. In our client-driven professional services organization, with every client comes a new challenge as you work through each one's unique technical environment. Primary responsibilities include:
• Work as part of a team providing support to customer business units and the technology community
• Participate in user requirements and specification meetings
• Produce functional specification documentation based upon client business requirements
• Assess and analyze the requirements needed to implement changes and advise on the options available to support the request within the system constraints while assessing potential risks and impacts
• Analyze, design, configure software and coordinate with clients and assist with project leadership
• Work closely with various departments to coordinate efforts to meet deadlines
• Analyze, review and audit all configuration parameter changes for accuracy of changes prior to delivery
• Provide technical leadership to the Professional Services configuration teams
• Perform and participate in design and code reviews
• Assist with root cause analysis of technical problems in the development, QA, or production environments
This position involves working with Client and Provenir Project Teams (including product/project managers, technical and business analyst, platform consultants, etc.) so communication and facilitation experience is necessary.
Travel, at least 50%, is required to support domestic and international clients.
