California Bank & Trust Selects Provenir Platform to Improve Credit Lifecycle Management
Solution provides small businesses with automatic loan approvals via the internet
May 22, 2006
(Parsippany, New Jersey, USA) - Provenir, a leading provider of enterprise software for managing the total customer credit lifecycle, today announced that California Bank & Trust has implemented the Provenir Platform. The initial implementation of the Provenir Platform enables California Bank & Trust to capture and make decisions about small business applications via the internet by allowing their customers 24/7 access to their credit from anywhere in the world. Future plans include extending the use of Provenir to all Zions Bancorporation subsidiary banks.
"We had a very short window of opportunity to replace an entire existing originations system," said Paul Herman, executive vice president, California Bank & Trust. "Our goal was to have all small business underwriting up and running with the new system as quickly as possible. Provenir was the best answer for our needs. We can make changes as often as we want, with minimal impact on our operations. I can't think of another system that would let us achieve our aggressive implementation schedule while retaining such flexibility."
Managing the credit lifecycle is an ongoing process because there are often new laws introduced at local and national levels, shifts in the competitive marketplace, and refinements made by financial institutions to their business policies to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction. Provenir's unique visual orientation for workflows, decision processes and supporting data collection screens will help California Bank & Trust more easily respond to these changes quickly and with minimal impact on their IT resources and other operational systems.
"Multi-product loan origination is a key strength of the Provenir Platform," said Jeffrey Oulton, Chief Operating Officer of Provenir. "California Bank & Trust now has a scalable platform that can also be used to address other core operations such as account management, collections, and compliance. The software lets them grow and expand their business with a common architecture and single computing environment for managing these operations."
Oulton added that "We are pleased that California Bank & Trust can leverage the flexibility of our platform including the use of our innovative Interaction Manager for taking loan applications from the internet."
